The electronic ballast scope is complemented by control units, UV-monitors, (V)UV-sensors, (V)UV-measurement units, quartz sleeves, UV-C lamps etc.
A thorough understanding of the purification business requirements enabled us to create the Digital UV-C system, a set of perfectly matched components for UV-C applications. The Digital UV-C system is based on the internal digital processing of our digital ballasts and sensors. In combination with digital communication interfaces all important parameters can be permanently monitored and accessed. Lamps and ballasts can be adjusted optimally to the conditions on site leading to a more efficient and energy saving operation of the whole system.

The new ZED SmartMeter serves as a monitoring unit for all digital ZED UV-C/VUV sensors. Measured values are displayed in numerical and graphical form and can be stored on a SD card. In combination with the appropriate reference sensor, the SmartMeter can be used as Reference Radiometer according to the Austrian standard ÖNORM or the German standard DVGW. Furthermore, the SmartMeter allows the configuration and optionally the UV-recalibration of digital ZED sensors by the customer himself.
ZED Modula - compact electronic unit for UV-C systems
Modula is a system of modular electronic units for operating 1, 2 or 3 UV-C lamps with total power 600W. It is available as 1x600W, 2x300W or 3x200W type.
Modula combines ballast(s) with control- and monitoring features. Numerous sensor interfaces and configurable signal outputs are available.
Modula units are designed for easy installation in IP65/67 cabinets. No air inlets/outlets are necessary. Mains switch, interlock or remote switches can be connected directly.
Over the last 20 years ZED established the quasi standard in ballast design for UV-C lamps. Beside the plain standard ballasts we developed a new ballast line with digital processing for enhanced control of lamp/ballast operation parameters. The ZED "controllable and adjustable ballasts" allow a comfortable integration into automated UV systems. UV lamp operation can be optimized to the conditions on site and permanently controlled via RS485 interface.
